THE FÉILE FIDELMAS
The Féile Fidelmas have been an international gathering of Sister Fidelma fans – or Fidelmaniacs – from around the world, gathering (usually) every other year in and around Cashel, Co. Tipperary. Readers of the novels will recognize Cashel as Fidelma’s “hometown,” and location of the famous Rock of Cashel (upon which, in a pre-11th century era) sat the fortress of Fidelma’s “brother,” the historical King Colgú.
